About Imogen

Imogen is a rustic-styled luxury lodge, nestled amongst the trees at the end of the west lake

This luxury lodge boasts a spacious open-plan living area with farmhouse-style rustic interiors. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you should need and more on a self-catering holiday in Yorkshire. In the cosy living area enjoy the log burning stove and a huge comfy sofa to sink in to after a day exploring local market town Richmond.

The living area has full-height glass sliding doors which lead to the enclosed private decking area outside with fantastic lakeside views, a charcoal BBQ and an outdoor seating area to relax and watch the surrounding wildlife. There’s also space for two four-legged friends in this dog-friendly lodge and the decking is enclosed.

Imogen is a South facing log cabin overlooking the West lake, seeing most hours of sunlight during the day. It’s perfect for a group of friends and family to enjoy the outdoor space and tranquil surroundings at Brompton Lakes.

This luxury lodge sleeps up to six guests in three stylish bedrooms. The master en-suite bedroom and the second bedroom have comfy super king-sized beds which can also be set as twins for a group or family. The second bedroom and further double share a house bathroom.

Why We Love Imogen

Each lodge at Brompton Lakes has been individually designed by renowned interior designer Rosie Mennem. Imogen is the perfect choice for a relaxing escape to North Yorkshire and a peaceful break from reality. The earthy neutral tones, rustic farmhouse style and artwork of the Yorkshire countryside throughout match its location, tucked away in the luscious woodland of Brompton Lakes.

There is free wi-fi in the lodge, and plenty of parking outside is accessed via gravel steps that lead to the back of the lodge. Enjoy the secure terrace, designed to let your four-legged friend roam around safely in this dog-friendly lodge. All our holiday homes include high-quality bed linen, towels, luxury toiletries, a starter pack for under the kitchen sink, the fire and the washroom. And of course, there is a locally sourced welcome hamper on arrival.

The modern kitchen has a full inventory for that home from home experience, including a fridge freezer and dishwasher. There are washing facilities in the separate utility room, and in the living area is a Smart TV, DVD player and Bluetooth sound system.

Private parking is available for two cars. Sixteen electric vehicle points are also available at two of the car parks on site. Price not included in booking, please speak with reception for more details.

In the area…

During your stay make sure to take a stroll around Brompton Lakes, with lots of dog-friendly areas to explore. You can also play boules, make use of complimentary bikes or enjoy a game of tennis. For a more serene stay, relax on the private decking and appreciate the idyllic location and wonderful wildlife.

Brompton Lakes is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, which has many walks, cycling routes, and stunning attractions. The market towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle are nearby. Both offer history and culture, restaurants, shopping, and the weekly markets filled with local produce.

For a relaxed evening in the lodge, book an exclusive private dining experience and put our partner chefs in charge of dinner. In Richmond, head to French restaurant Rustique, or enjoy popular gastro pub The Black Bull in Moulton. When you arrive, the welcome tablet in the property will have even more recommendations for the area, or explore in the meantime.
