Roseberry Topping

So… yes… you’re going to have to put in a bit of effort to get to the top of Roseberry Topping but the views from the top are worth it! A much-loved local landmark, Roseberry Topping is the perfect place for couples to relax and spend quality time taking in the incredible surrounding scenery. You can start your climb from Newton under Roseberry or from Great Ayton both offering well-signposted walks to the top!

Aysgarth Falls

What’s more romantic than views of a stunning waterfall? Three waterfalls! Aysgarth Falls, near Leyburn, provides some simply beautiful backdrops to a romantic stroll. You’ll find a choice of different walks and routes depending on your energy levels. And afterwards, we suggest a 10-minute drive to West Witton village for a meal at The Wensleydale Heifer, the perfect place for a romantic meal.

Mount Grace Priory House & Gardens

Mount Grace Priory is a lovely spot for a leisurely hand-in-hand stroll among the beautiful gardens, meadows and orchards set against the backdrop of this timeless country estate. This is a peaceful place to get away from it all and spend some relaxing time with a loved one. The grounds are extensive with plenty of space to choose the perfect place for a romantic picnic for two!

Richmond Castle

Richmond Castle, in the heart of Richmond, is a lovely spot for a couples walk. Why not take in the incredible views of the surrounding countryside before exploring the local town? The cobbled streets of Richmond provide a perfect place for a gentle stroll. Staithes Coastal Walk

If you wish to travel a bit further, Staithes is one of the many charming coastal towns on the Yorkshire coast.
