Whether you're visiting in the crisp winter months with frost dusting the hills or basking in long summer evenings, this log cabin is made for year-round enjoyment. Enjoy your perfect Yorkshire break by snuggling next to the log fire in winter, dining outdoors in the warmer months or spending time in your private hot tub. A huge choice of dog-friendly walks from your lodge means every member of the family will enjoy their getaway.

Rustic charm meets modern elegance at Sun Hill Lodges with open-plan log cabin living designed for relaxation and togetherness. This is the perfect space to enjoy quality time with friends or family. Dogs are welcome at Alborada so your pups aren’t missing out on any of the fun. Be sure to light the woodburning stove and get the fire roaring before cosying up on the comfortable sofa with a movie on your Smart TV. The fully equipped self-catering kitchen in your luxury log cabin has everything you need to cook up a feast and enjoy a hearty meal around the 4-person dining table.

This beautiful log cabin in Yorkshire sleeps up to four guests plus pooches and is the perfect destination for a family holiday or a getaway for two couples.

There are two bedrooms in the cabin, both of which have private en-suites. The master bedroom is a fixed four-poster super king-sized bed with an en-suite bath and overhead rainfall shower. The second en-suite bedroom is a zip and link super king-sized bed which can be split into twins. Both bedrooms feature large windows that frame the breathtaking North Yorkshire countryside – the perfect view to wake up to each morning.

Throw open the French doors and step onto your private patio to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty of North Yorkshire. Take a moment, breathe in the fresh air and truly take in the incredible views from your luxurious log cabin overlooking the Yorkshire Dales. Dine al fresco using the gas BBQ, gather around the fire pit or relax in the jacuzzi-style hot tub under the stars all sheltered beneath the veranda. The garden is fully enclosed so dogs can roam free. Sun Hill Lodges is truly the perfect destination for those wanting to relax and recharge whilst admiring the beautiful wildlife and stunning racehorses that reside at the grounds.

There is free wi-fi throughout the holiday home. On arrival, you will find a locally sourced welcome hamper. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering accommodation, with an oven, microwave, hob and microwave. The barbecue outside is gas. A starter pack for the log burner includes logs and firelighters, and more can be purchased during your stay. You'll find parking for two cars next to the lodge.

The stay includes high-quality bed linen, towels, bathrobes and a small selection of toiletries. Families can request a travel cot and a high chair for an infant in advance. A small cloakroom has a washing machine and tumble drier for guests.

Up to two dogs are welcome in this luxury lodge in Yorkshire; it is not well suited to more than one large dog. Alborada has a fully enclosed garden at the front of the property providing a large spacious area for your pooches to run free.

Alborada is nestled within the grounds of Sun Hill Lodges, a collection of 12 lodges near Leyburn, North Yorkshire. Allow the dedicated operations team at Sun Hill Lodges to enhance your stay with various in-lodge exclusives.

The properties at Sun Hill Lodges are located on the grounds of racehorse trainer Ann Duffield and her husband, legendary jockey George Duffield MBE. Stable tours can be arranged on request. The beauty of this woodland lodge is seeing the horses training on the gallops that run beyond the end of the garden.

The lodge is set away from the stables, so there’s privacy in the garden of your self-catering luxury lodge.

In The Area

Leyburn is often referred to as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales and is the closest town, 4 miles from this hot tub lodge in Yorkshire. The market square offers a wonderful blend of independent shops and places to eat. Try delicious artisan chocolates from Inspired Chocolate or browse the sales at the famous Tennant’s auction house which also has a great cafe. The Sandpiper Inn and the Bolton Arms pub in the town are both great options, and have a dog-friendly bar.

Stock up your cupboards at the award-winning Campbell’s of Leyburn; family-run since 1868, it is a supermarket and wine retailer. On Friday’s do make sure to visit Leyburn’s weekly market full of local produce.
