The Holiday at Home journey started with the launch of Brompton Lakes luxury lodges by our father Roy, over 10 years ago. It seemed to fill a gap in the local market, and guests were attracted by a combination of styling and attention to detail, all in a great setting. As the popularity of the lodges grew, guests kept coming back and asking for more.
A family-run business that puts guest happiness and satisfaction first...
A few years later William joined his father in the company, and Holly House Farm and 30 Frenchgate were added to the collection of holiday lets in Yorkshire. The company continued to expand, to take on additional carefully selected properties, acting as a holiday letting agent for local owners. More recently, Will’s sister Charlotte joined him in the business, bringing with her considerable experience in customer service and business development.
It had become obvious that the market was changing; the demand for top quality self-catering accommodation was increasing and standards were getting higher. Now, our luxury holiday home collection is made up of around 50 five-star standard large houses, cottages, and lodges across North Yorkshire, all furnished with high-end interiors and a sense of luxury. We would like to consider further interesting properties to add to our carefully curated portfolio.
