Take a trip into the charming nearby market town of Leyburn, where you will find an array of independent shops alongside plenty of places where you can enjoy a bite to eat. Sun Hill Lodges are the ideal base for exploring, hiking, cycling and sightseeing for all ages.

Constable Burton Lodge is a true luxury log cabin in every sense, complete with exposed wood, rustic textures, and a log burner that crackles to life as you sink into the comfort of your surroundings. Watch the horses graze peacefully in the nearby paddocks from the comfort of your cabin, completing the picture of countryside calm.

Enjoy cooking up a storm in the fully equipped self-catering kitchen complete with a Nespresso coffee machine. Designed for both practicality and fun, the open-plan layout of this hot tub cabin blends the kitchen, dining, and living areas, making it a wonderfully social space to spend quality time together. Whether you’re cooking up a feast or simply keeping the chef company, perch at the island on the high-top stools and chat over a glass of something special. Set the mood with your favourite playlist on the Bluetooth soundbar and let the good times flow.

Both beautifully appointed bedrooms feature private en-suite bathrooms, each with luxurious walk-in rainfall showers. Each bedroom has a Smart TV and a fixed super king-sized bed. The French doors lead out to the private patio, and bathrobes are provided for your enjoyment of the hot tub.

Enjoy a large garden area all to yourselves and take in the far-reaching views from your outdoor seating area or by taking a dip in the jacuzzi-style hot tub. When day falls to night enjoy searching for shooting stars in the starry night sky whilst cosying around the firepit.

The doors from the lounge lead to a stone-flagged private patio, overlooking the paddocks of Sun Hill Lodges, and beyond the rolling Yorkshire Dales.

There is free Wi-Fi throughout the holiday home. On arrival, you will find a locally sourced welcome hamper. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering accommodation, with an oven, hob and microwave. There is a Nespresso coffee machine at the property which is compatible with Nespresso capsules. The barbecue outside is gas. A starter pack for the log burner includes logs and firelighters, and more can be purchased during your stay.

The stay includes high-quality bed linen, towels, bathrobes and a small selection of toiletries. Families can request a travel cot and a high chair for an infant in advance. There is a washing machine and dryer in the lodge. There is parking for two cars next to the lodge.

Up to two dogs are welcome in this luxury lodge in Yorkshire although it is not well suited to more than one large dog. Please note that the garden within this property is not regarded as enclosed although it is fenced. Please keep an eye on those excitable pooches in particular as it is not escape proof!

This beautiful cabin is nestled within the grounds of Sun Hill Lodges, a collection of 12 cabins in Yorkshire near Leyburn. This allows the dedicated operations team that runs Sun Hill Lodges to enhance your stay with various in-lodge exclusives.

The properties at Sun Hill Lodges are located on the grounds of racehorse trainer Ann Duffield and her husband, legendary jockey George Duffield MBE. Stable tours can be arranged on request. The beauty of this woodland lodge is seeing the horses training on the gallops that run beyond the end of the garden.

These cabins in Yorkshire are set away from the stables, so there’s privacy in the garden of your self-catering luxury log cabin. The log cabins are thoughtfully spaced out, with no neighbouring lodge overlooking you offering complete privacy throughout your stay.

There is also a collection of neighbouring luxury cottages sleeping two to ten guests at Sun Hill Farm.

In The Area

Leyburn is often referred to as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales and is the closest town, 4 miles from this hot tub lodge in Yorkshire. The market square offers a wonderful blend of independent shops and places to eat. Try delicious artisan chocolates from Inspired Chocolate or browse the sales at the famous Tennant’s auction house which also has a great cafe. The Sandpiper Inn and the Bolton Arms pub in the town are both great options, and have a dog-friendly bar.

Stock up your cupboards at the award-winning Campbell’s of Leyburn; family-run since 1868, it is a supermarket and wine retailer. On Friday’s do make sure to visit Leyburn’s weekly market full of local produce.
