Care of the Property
We have decorated and equipped our properties to a high specification, most items have been individually sourced and are expensive to replace. Thank you for looking after everything. We do understand that accidents can happen, please report breakages asap to give us time to replace them before the next guests arrive. Please refer to our terms and conditions with any questions.

Wi-Fi

The Wi-Fi network will allow you to connect to the internet from the house and on the terrace. This is free to use. Look for the name of your property on your wi-fi networks and follow through onto the internet.

Noise
Please respect neighbouring properties and keep noise levels to a minimum between 10pm and 8am, especially outside using the hot tub.

Smoking
The properties are strictly non-smoking. A cigarette bin can be found outside.

Lost Property
If guests leave any personal belongings behind they must be claimed within two weeks. We are happy to return any goods for a charge from £10, depending on the item. Please note items will not be kept any longer than two weeks due to the high volume of lost property accumulated.

Instructions

Dog Owners

For your pet’s safety and consideration of our other guests, please be mindful of the following:

  • Neighbouring houses have dogs so there may be other dogs nearby. Be aware they may also be horses, please keep your dogs away from them.
  • Please clean up after your dog (spare bags available in the kitchen).
  • Please keep your dog on a lead at all times beyond the property.
  • Do not allow dogs into the bedrooms or on to furniture. An excess cleaning charge may apply.

Dog waste can be bagged and put in the rubbish bin in the drive.

Upstairs TV & PS4

Turn on the TV using one of the numbers, rather than the power button.

To get to the TV press DIGITAL, and for the PS4 press INPUT. The PS4 is on AV5, if it doesn’t appear at first, press input until you get to the right screen.

Turn off the TV using the small green AV power button.

PS4:

Turn on the PS4 using the Playstation symbol in the middle of the game controller. This also acts as a DVD player.

Sound System

Music – SONOs music system is fitted in the main lounge, kitchen, BBQ area and hot tub. Each area can play different music at your control. Simply down load the free SONOs app and enjoy.

Television

1. Turn on the television by pressing the green power button at the top of the Sony remote.

2. Press the TV button then ‘Guide’ on the remote and use the arrows to select your channel of choice.

Netflix, Google Play, iPlayer, and Amazon Prime are built in, accessed via the HOME button. Please ensure to log out before departing.

The bedroom TVs also have built-in Smart functions. The PS4 acts as a DVD player, upstairs in the den.

Hot Tub Operation

You are responsible for ensuring that the hot tub is kept safe during your stay. Please refer to the ‘Hot Tub Treatment Kit’ which is located inside the property for more information. A responsible adult will need to test the water pH and Bromine levels each day for the duration of your stay. This will take approximately 5 minutes. The key for the ‘Hot Tub Treatment Kit’ is located on the main set of house keys

The hot tub will be cleaned out and filled with fresh water on the day of your arrival.  You do not need to empty the water during your stay, there is an anti-bacterial treatment for the water in the hot tub.

The hot tub is set at 37 degrees, this can’t be altered. Please see the control panel on the hot tub to operate the jets.

The light switch for the hot tub area is located on the side of the building near the car park, along with the light switch for the festoon lighting.

Heating

There is underfloor heating throughout. There are thermostats in each room to control the temperature, please bear in mind the underfloor heated areas take a while (2-3 hours) to react.

The bathroom also has underfloor heating, which comes on twice a day, and a heated towel rail which has a twist thermostat on the bottom left.

Changing the temperature:

To turn the temperature up, press 1 until reaching the temperature required then press the tick sign (5) which sets it.

To turn the temperature down, press 2 until reaching the temperature required then press the tick (5) to set it.

Recycling and Rubbish Disposal

A rubbish bin and plastic boxes for recycling are situated in the driveway. Please do not leave rubbish bags outside where animals may be tempted.

We recycle glass in one bin, and paper, cans, and recyclable plastics and cartons (check on the pack) in the other. Please help by making sure bottles, cans and containers are clean before putting them into the box.

If you need your rubbish emptying during your stay, please contact reception.
