This log cabin with a hot tub is made for year-round enjoyment, whether you enjoy relaxing by a roaring log fire on a cosy evening or soaking in the jacuzzi-style tub after a day exploring the area.

Set within the peaceful and private grounds of Sun Hill Lodges, stunning views of the local countryside can be enjoyed from the charming covered outdoor area. There is also a wide choice of dog-friendly walks and great dining options nearby, so every member of the team will enjoy their getaway.

Rustic charm meets modern elegance with the open-plan log cabin living. Centred around the sofas and the fire, the heart of this holiday home is designed for relaxation and togetherness. Comfy sofas, soft lighting, log cabin interiors and windows that frame the spectacular views are all the ingredients needed for a wonderful group getaway.

Be sure to light the woodburning stove and get the fire roaring before settling down on the comfortable sofa with a movie on the Smart TV; it's best enjoyed with a box of the excellent Inspired Chocolates whose shop is in Leyburn. The well-equipped self-catering kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal around the 4-person dining table.

Dogs are welcome in this two-bedroom luxury log cabin with a hot tub, so your pups aren’t missing out on the fun.

This log cabin features two bedrooms, both of which have en-suite bathrooms and French doors that open straight onto the patio and those breathtaking North Yorkshire views.

The master bedroom has a fixed super king-sized bed with an en-suite, which includes a bath and overhead rainfall shower. The second bedroom is a super king-sized bed, which is zip-and-link so it can be split into twin beds for friends or children. In here is an en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms feature a smart TV, allowing you to relax and enjoy your favourite shows or streaming services from the comfort of your bedroom.

Throw open any of the French doors and step onto your private patio and enclosed garden, so all members of the family can play freely in the garden. Your jacuzzi-style hot tub is perfectly placed under cover for long soaks while enjoying the views.

Dine al fresco around the rattan 4-person table and chairs, firing up the gas BBQ after stocking up from the local butcher or at Campbell's shop in Leyburn. Enjoy a drink from the bamboo cane covered outdoor bar with high stools, ideal for socialising with friends and family whatever the weather. Whether you’re enjoying a sunny afternoon drink or a cosy evening under the shelter, it’s the perfect spot to relax and take in the surroundings.

Sun Hill Lodges is truly the perfect destination for those wanting to unwind whilst admiring the stunning racehorses that reside at the surrounding paddocks.

There is free wi-fi throughout these lodges in the Yorkshire Dales. On arrival, you will find a locally sourced welcome hamper. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering accommodation, with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave. The barbecue outside is gas. A starter pack for the log burner includes logs and firelighters, and more can be purchased during your stay.

There is parking next to the lodge for two cars.

The stay includes high-quality bed linen, towels for the bathroom and hot tub, bathrobes and a small selection of toiletries. Families can request a travel cot and a high chair for an infant in advance. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer available for guests.

Up to two dogs are welcome in these lodges in the Yorkshire Dales, although it is not well-suited to more than one large dog.

Pivotal is nestled within the grounds of Sun Hill Lodges, a collection of 12 luxury lodges in the Yorkshire Dales near Leyburn, North Yorkshire. Allow the dedicated operations team at Sun Hill Lodges to enhance your stay with various in-lodge exclusives.

These cabins with hot tubs are located on the grounds of racehorse trainer Ann Duffield and her husband, legendary jockey George Duffield MBE. Stable tours can be arranged on request. The beauty of the setting is seeing the horses training on the gallops that run beyond the end of the garden.

Pivotal is set away from the stables and is south-facing, overlooking the Yorkshire hills. The way the cabins are thoughtfully spaced out ensures there is privacy in the garden of each self-catering accommodation near Leyburn.

There is one small step to get inside, then the lodge is all on one level and so is well suited to guests with limited mobility.

This is accommodation with 2 ground-floor bedrooms and a walk-in step-free shower.

In The Area

Leyburn is often referred to as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales and is the closest town, 4 miles from these lodges in the Yorkshire Dales. The market square offers a wonderful blend of independent shops and places to eat. Try delicious artisan chocolates from Inspired Chocolate or browse the sales at the famous Tennant’s auction house which also has a great cafe. The Sandpiper Inn and the Bolton Arms pub in the town are both great options, and have a dog-friendly bar.

Stock up your cupboards at the award-winning Campbell’s of Leyburn; family-run since 1868, it is a supermarket and wine retailer. On Friday’s do make sure to visit Leyburn’s weekly market full of local produce.
