Care of the Property
We have decorated and equipped our properties to a high specification, most items have been individually sourced and are expensive to replace. Thank you for looking after everything. We do understand that accidents can happen, please report breakages asap to give us time to replace them before the next guests arrive. Please refer to our terms and conditions with any questions.
Please note that CCTV is operational outside the property for security. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Please respect neighbouring properties and keep noise levels to a minimum between 10pm and 8am, especially outside using the hot tub.
The properties are strictly non-smoking. A cigarette bin can be found outside.
If guests leave any personal belongings behind they must be claimed within two weeks. We are happy to return any goods for a charge from £10, depending on the item. Please note items will not be kept any longer than two weeks due to the high volume of lost property accumulated.

For your pet’s safety and consideration of our other guests, please be mindful of the following:
Please read the safety information for using the hot tub. Should you have any questions about testing the hot tub please get in touch.
The hot tub will be cleaned out and filled with fresh water on the day of your arrival. You do not need to empty the water during your stay, there is an anti-bacterial treatment for the water in the hot tub.
The hot tub is set between 37-39 degrees, and you will be able to use the temperature controls to adjust. Please see the control panel on the hot tub, and use the far right hand button to cycle through the programs to operate the jets. When finished, always ensure that the tub is left on auto when not in use. Please note that the tub will not heat when the jets are set to high.
Keep the lid on the hot tub when heating to conserve the heat. There is a hosepipe in the area for the addition of cold water if you would like to cool it down or need to top up the tub for any reason.
The water is heated by circulating through the system via an inlet and outlet pipe within the hot tub. DO NOT let the water drop below its original level. If necessary, please use the hose pipe provided to top up the water level.
The water is heated via an electric heater. This warms at around 1-2 degrees per hour so the hot tub may not be able to be used until later on the first night.
If you have any issues before 5pm please contact reception on 01748 850333 for emergencies after 5pm please call 07919 451626.
Please do not puta anything down the toilet except natural things and toilet paper. No sanitary products, face wipes or cotton wool should be flushed, and sanitary disposal bags are provided.
There is a BBQ which can be found on the patio or in the garage in winter, you are welcome to use this. Please bring your own charcoal, and leave the BBQ clean and tidy. Please leave the ashes in the metal bucket provided.
Starting a programme:
Fridge / Freezer
In the kitchen there is an integrated Fridge Freezer. The temperature settings can be adjusted internally, though please do not overload the fridge freezer on arrival as this will cause the unit to over heat and therefore your food will not stay chilled which Holiday at Home cannot be held liable for.
There is also a drinks fridge in the kitchen where we ask you store bottles rather than overloading the inside of the fridge door.
The heating in the property is set on a timer so will only run at certain times of day.
Please be aware that setting the temperature thermostat higher will not make the room heat up quicker!
If you are having trouble with the heating, please call us on 01748 850333 between 8.30am and 5pm.
Extra logs and kindling are available on the log store outside.
Be aware that the fire will get hot. Use the glove provided and keep children away.

Both the Oven and the Hob are electric.

The oven is operated by the appropriate knob on the front of the oven. Twist the knob to set the temperature. Please note that if the clock is not set, the oven will not work. The clock can be set using the + and – buttons on the front of the cooker.

We recycle glass, paper, cans, and recyclable plastics and cartons (check on the pack) please use the boxes accordingly. Thank you for making sure bottles, cans and containers are clean before putting them into the box.
If your bin becomes full during your stay, there is a wooden bin store at the back of The Farmhouse.
A set of garden furniture is outside, the parasol will be kept in the garage during the winter months. Please collapse the parasol when not in use so it doesn’t blow away. We appreciate you bringing cushions into the utility room if it is raining, and before you depart.
Lighting in the Garden
There are light switches by the back door into the garden which illuminate the garden and terrace.
From time to time we may need to carry out some garden maintenance during your stay. We will be careful to cause minimum disturbance and maintain your privacy at all times. If you have any questions, please speak to us.
