A huge choice of dog-friendly walks from your lodge means every member of the family will enjoy their getaway.

This is the perfect space to enjoy high quality time with friends or family. The well-equipped self-catering kitchen has all you need to cook up a feast and enjoy a hearty meal around the 4-person dining table.

Dogs are welcome at Alborada and the garden is well-suited to families, so your pups aren’t missing out on any of the fun. Be sure to light the wood-burning stove and get the fire roaring before cosying up on the comfortable sofa with a movie on your Smart TV.

This beautiful log cabin in Yorkshire sleeps up to four guests and is a perfect destination for a family holiday or a getaway for two couples. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and feature large windows that frame the North Yorkshire countryside, the perfect view to wake up to each morning. From each room, doors open straight onto the terrace, so you can step outside and slip straight into the hot tub.

The master bedroom is a super king-sized zip and link bed. The adjoining en-suite has a bath and overhead shower.

The second bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The bed is super king-sized, and a zip-and-link that can be split into twins for friends or children.

Throw open the French doors and step onto your private patio to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty. Take a moment, breathe in the fresh air and truly take in the incredible views from your luxurious log cabin overlooking the Yorkshire Dales. Dine al fresco using the gas BBQ, gather around the fire pit or relax in the jacuzzi-style hot tub under the stars. These areas are all sheltered beneath the veranda.

Alborada is nestled within the grounds of Sun Hill Lodges, a collection of 12 log cabins in Yorkshire near Leyburn, North Yorkshire. Allow the dedicated operations team at Sun Hill Lodges to enhance your stay with various in-lodge exclusives.

The properties at Sun Hill Lodges are located on the grounds of racehorse trainer Ann Duffield and her husband, legendary jockey George Duffield MBE. Stable tours can be arranged on request. The beauty of this woodland cabin is seeing the horses training on the gallops that run beyond the end of the garden.

There is a private gravelled parking area for 2 cars just outside the lodge, from which there are three paving stones to the patio which leads to the front door. There is a small lip to get into the lodge.

There is one small step to get inside, then the lodge is all on one level, and so is suited to guests with limited mobility.

This accommodation has two ground-floor en-suite bedrooms. One en-suite has a bath and the other has a shower.

In The Area

Leyburn is often referred to as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales and is the closest town, 4 miles from this hot tub lodge in Yorkshire. The market square offers a wonderful blend of independent shops and places to eat. Try delicious artisan chocolates from Inspired Chocolate or browse the sales at the famous Tennant’s auction house which also has a great cafe. The Sandpiper Inn and the Bolton Arms pub in the town are both great options, and have a dog-friendly bar.

Stock up your cupboards at the award-winning Campbell’s of Leyburn; family-run since 1868, it is a supermarket and wine retailer. On Friday’s do make sure to visit Leyburn’s weekly market full of local produce.
