This luxury lodge uk is perfect for early risers, getting all the morning sunshine in through the floor-to-ceiling windows. East-facing, Abbey is a luxury lodge at Brompton Lakes in Richmond, North Yorkshire. With three stylish bedrooms, the log cabin sleeps up to 6 guests in ultimate comfort.

There is an impressive view of both lakes with decking overlooking a small island full of wildlife. From outside you can just hear the River Swale which runs behind the lodge beyond the parking.

Abbey is a dog-friendly Type B lakeside lodge with everything on one level from the parking area. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living space includes a log-burning stove, comfy sofa and full-height sliding doors leading to a large private deck with outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ overlooking the lake.

The lodge has three super-king bedrooms, each of which can be arranged as a double or twin on request. The master bedroom has a luxury en-suite with separate bath and shower, while the other two bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Designed by interior designer Rosie Mennam, Abbey blends Scandinavian tones with stylish upcycled furniture to create a warm, relaxing retreat.

On-site, enjoy activities like a game of boules, complimentary bike rides, or a friendly match of tennis. Tennis rackets and balls are available from Reception for your convenience. For a quieter escape, unwind on your private decking and soak up the tranquil setting, surrounded by wonderful wildlife. This lodge also features a nearby fishing peg, which guests are welcome to use.

Please note, while there are fish to catch and release, the lake is not stocked or advertised as a fishing destination.

A three-bedroom, two-bathroom lodge, there are gravel steps down to the lodge. Once inside, you are all on one level.

The living, kitchen, and dining area are open plan spanning the width of the lodge. There is floor to ceiling windows onto the private decking area. The utility room sits alongside the kitchen, with a washer dryer.

There is a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom which includes a shower and separate bath.
The second and third bedrooms share a large house bathroom with a bath that has a shower overhead.
