The king-size bed is thoughtfully placed to make the most of the views, inviting slow mornings and unhurried starts to the day. The space combines comfort and practicality, with a built-in dining bench and a well-equipped kitchenette for relaxed meals at any time of day. A wall-mounted Smart TV is cleverly positioned to be enjoyed from the bed or seating area. Heating ensures guests are comfortable year-round. The bathroom, featuring a shower and stocked with Skandinavisk toiletries, completes the cleverly-designed space.

After exploring the surrounding countryside, return to the comfort of the lodge and unwind with a warm shower before stepping outside. Here, a private covered hot tub on the patio provides a sheltered spot to relax and take in the scenery, whatever the weather. A charcoal barbecue and outdoor seating area make the most of warmer evenings, whether you're enjoying a leisurely meal or simply watching the sun set over the landscape.

• The Bay Horse in Ravensworth is within walking distance. This family-run pub serves local food for Sunday lunch and evening meals.
• Mainsgill Farmshop, a 1 mile drive; stock up in the food hall and deli counters.

Is Elvar accessible for people with low mobility?

Elvar Lodge has been thoughtfully designed to provide a cosy and relaxing retreat for couples. Parking is located in the shared parking area beyond the lodge. Please note there are steps leading down from the parking area to the lodge, along with two steps at the entrance.

The lodge combines the kitchen, dining, living, and sleeping areas into one welcoming space. The king-size bed is positioned in front of the large feature window.

The bathroom is located beyond the kitchen, on the left-hand side as you enter the lodge, and features a walk-in shower.

Outside, the covered canopy area provides shelter for both the hot tub and outdoor sofa, creating a comfortable space to relax and enjoy the outdoors in all weather conditions.
