It also sits at the heart of three popular national parks; the North Yorkshire Moors, the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, making it the perfect holiday destination to explore the best the North has to offer. With plenty to explore from your doorstep, for avid walkers to those wanting a casual stroll, there is a choice of walks on offer through the farmland, woodlands and along the riverbanks.

One of our favourite bistros, Middleton Lodge is only a 10-minute drive away from The Barn and many of our other holiday homes in North Yorkshire. Enjoy award-winning fine dining at The Forge or all-day delicious food and cocktails in The Coach House. There are also gorgeous grounds and a spa to explore.
