Abbey is a type B lakeside lodge where you will find everything on one level once you walk down from the parking. This dog-friendly lodge has a spacious kitchen, which is well equipped with everything you could need in self-catering accommodation.

The dining table sits between the kitchen and living area. The open plan design is made cosy with a log burning stove, comfy sofas and full-height glass sliding doors. These lead out to the large private decking, with rattan outdoor seating, a table and chairs, and a charcoal BBQ. It's the ideal place to relax on your group getaway.

There is a main bathroom with a shower over the bath, which is shared by two bedrooms. The master bedroom has luxury en-suite facilities with a separate bath and large shower. All three of the bedrooms have super-king beds which can each be set up as either double or twin rooms on request.

Each lodge at Brompton Lakes has been individually designed by renowned interior designer Rosdie Mennam. Abbey is a beautiful luxury lodge with a touch of Scandinavian rustic charm due to the colour tones throughout. The carefully selected upcycled furniture creates a cosy and traditional feel.

We love the contrast between neutral tones of the master bedroom, which creates a sense of calm, alongside the use of rich colours and tweed fabrics in the living room. Combined, they create a perfect space to enjoy a cosy night in on your luxury escape.

During your stay, take a leisurely stroll around Brompton Lakes. The grounds feature a scenic 1 kilometre flat walking loop, perfect for a relaxed wander. For those looking to venture further, it’s just a gentle 45-minute walk into the historic market town of Richmond.

On-site, enjoy activities like a game of boules, complimentary bike rides, or a friendly match of tennis. Tennis rackets and balls are available from Reception for your convenience. For a quieter escape, unwind on your private decking and soak up the tranquil setting, surrounded by wonderful wildlife. This lodge also features a nearby fishing peg, which guests are welcome to use.

Please note, while there are fish to catch and release, the lake is not stocked or advertised as a fishing destination.
