Willow enjoys fantastic sunrise views over the West lake at Brompton Lakes, a modern and contemporary stay within the grounds of an idyllic Yorkshire staycation. Two pooches are welcome in this dog friendly lodge.
One of our East facing lodges, Willow has touch of Scandinavian rustic charm due to the rich colour tones throughout. The carefully thought through interiors and a beautiful setting makes this the perfect lakeside escape. Admire the view from the floor to ceiling windows, before even stepping out onto the decking. Bring the dog along for some riverside walks and to take a relaxing stroll amongst the 26 acres of natural beauty. Borrow some bikes from reception to enjoy a ride around, or have a go at some tennis in the court.
This luxury lodge sits near the end of the West lake, and the spacious open plan living area enjoys full-height glass sliding doors that span the width of the lodge and lead to the large private decking area. This is the perfect outdoor space for al fresco dining, with a charcoal BBQ and comfy outdoor rattan seating area to relax and watch the surrounding wildlife. The lodge has an impressive view of both lakes, overlooking a small island and sitting close to the River Swale.
The living area is open plan and is separated from the kitchen by a central dining table. The sumptuous sofa and comfy armchairs sit around a cosy log burning stove, which can also twist around towards the dining table for wintry nights. The luxury lodge has a spacious kitchen which is very well equipped with everything you should need and more on a self-catering Yorkshire holiday. A large television is wall mounted in the living area.
Willow has three bedrooms, all of which have super-king beds that can be set as double or twin rooms. The master bedroom has en suite facilities, with a separate bath and shower. The further two bedrooms share the large house bathroom, with a bath and overhead shower.
Each lodge at Brompton Lakes has been individually designed by interior designer Rosie Mennam. Willow is a gorgeous lodge with a touch of Scandinavian rustic charm due to the rich colour tones throughout the living room and master bedroom. The carefully selected upcycled furniture creates a cosy and traditional feel, complimenting the touches of contemporary design such as the modern dining table and dining chairs.
There is free wi-fi in this luxury lodge and parking outside, accessed via a gravel path with some steps. The modern kitchen has a full inventory for that home from home experience, including a fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There are washing facilities in the separate utility room. The living area includes a Smart TV, DVD player and sound system.
All our luxury lodges include high-quality bed linen, towels and toiletries. There's a starter pack for under the kitchen sink, for the fire and washroom, and of course, a locally sourced welcome hamper on arrival. There’s also space for two four-legged friends in this dog-friendly lodge, and the decking is enclosed to the front and gated on each side.
Willow is one of 21 self-catering luxury lodges at Brompton Lakes. For more information on the other lodges, view the floor plans.
Private parking is available for two cars behind the lodge, accessed via gravel steps.
Sixteen electric vehicle points are also available at two of the car parks on site. Charging is not included in booking, please see your guestbook for more details. To see our cottages with EV Car Charging, please click here.
During your stay make sure to venture out of your luxury lodge and take a stroll around Brompton Lakes. You can also play boules, make use of complimentary bikes or enjoy a game of tennis. For a serene stay, relax on the private decking and appreciate the idyllic location and wonderful wildlife.
Brompton Lakes is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, which has many walks, cycling routes, and stunning attractions. The market towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle are nearby. Both offer history and culture, restaurants, shopping, and the weekly markets filled with local produce. Indulge in a hearty breakfast followed by a day of exploring one of the surrounding towns with lots of dog-friendly shops and attractions for you to enjoy. Many of the shops and pubs are also dog friendly and are extremely accommodating for your 4-legged friends.
