Step inside this black timber-cladded cabin, into a calm and welcoming space. A bold palette of deep blacks and dark tones runs through the interiors, drawn from the drama of volcanic stone and the simplicity of Nordic design. A large window is the focal point and pulls the North Yorkshire countryside right into the heart of the space.

Built-in seating for two is ideal for enjoying a morning coffee before planning a day ahead in the Yorkshire Dales. The king-size bed makes the perfect spot for unwinding after a day outdoors, switching off and soaking in those far-reaching views. The kitchenette is stocked with all the essentials for a self-catering break. Heating ensures guests are comfortable year-round. The bathroom, featuring a shower and stocked with Skandinavisk toiletries, completes the cleverly-designed space.

Take it all in from your outdoor private jacuzzi-style hot tub or unwind on the paved patio with charcoal BBQ, acacia wood and stone tables, and comfortable rope dining chairs for two. A wall-mounted Smart TV and free Wi-Fi in the lodge. Skandinavisk toiletries are supplied in the bathroom. Linen, towels and bathrobes for the hot tub are provided.

Yes, up to two dogs are welcome at Osa. The lodge is best suited to small and medium-sized breeds to ensure everyone stays comfortable during their break. The outdoor space and local walks are great for guests with dogs. Please note the gardens next to the lodges are not enclosed.

Yes, Greenbank Lodges is ideally located for walking, with a range of routes right on your doorstep. There is an easy, one-kilometre walking loop around the site at Greenbank Lodges. Local routes around Ravensworth consist of well-defined paths and fields with views of Holme Beck. Near Richmond (approximately a 15-minute drive), there are popular routes that take in the historical ruins of Easby Abbey and the River Swale. Approximately 25 minutes drive is Reeth in Swaledale, providing access to higher, more dramatic scenery and open access land.

Great care has been taken to ensure each lodge enjoys uninterrupted views of the stunning Yorkshire countryside. Whether you're seeking a romantic escape or a dog-friendly break, you'll find the perfect balance of nature and comfort.

On the same peaceful site, and a few minutes' walk from Osa is Greenbank Barns, a collection of three luxury holiday homes - perfect for larger group gatherings, family getaways and celebrations.

Osa Lodge has been thoughtfully designed to provide a cosy and relaxing retreat for couples. Featuring striking black interior walls throughout, the lodge offers a stylish and contemporary atmosphere.

Parking is located behind the lodge. Please note there are steps leading down from the parking area to the lodge, along with two steps at the entrance.

The lodge features a bright and spacious open-plan layout, combining the kitchen, dining, living, and sleeping areas into one welcoming space. The king-size bed is positioned in front of the large feature window, allowing guests to make the most of the natural light and surrounding countryside views.

The bathroom is located behind the kitchen, on the left-hand side as you enter the lodge, and features a walk-in shower.

Outside, the covered canopy area provides shelter for both the hot tub and outdoor sofa, creating a comfortable space to relax and enjoy the outdoors in all weather conditions.

With its open-plan design, distinctive interiors, and carefully considered layout, Osa Lodge offers a comfortable and stylish base for a peaceful countryside getaway.

In The Area

While you feel Greenbank Lodges is perfectly private, among acres of stunning countryside, there are plenty of places to explore on your doorstep. There is an easy, one-kilometre walking loop that follows the perimeter of the site at Greenbank Lodges. It is an easy, unhurried route that takes in the open countryside immediately surrounding the lodges. Along the way it is not uncommon to spot wildlife - rabbits, hares, deer and a variety of birds are regular visitors to the site, and the ducks are often seen around the grounds.

Just a mile away is the village of Ravensworth, home to the popular Bay Horse pub and the remains of the 14th-Century Ravensworth Castle. The market towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle are both 15 to 20 minutes away, with a great selection of heritage sites, restaurants, cafés, and independent shops.
