This characterful cottage has a kitchen, snug, dining room and utility room on the ground floor, with some small steps between each room. The utility and boot room is very spacious, well suited for families looking for a luxury dog-friendly cottage, and offering plenty of storage for a week’s escape to North Yorkshire.

On the ground floor, very tall guests should please mind your head. As an old but refurbished cottage, the ceilings are low in places.

Three bedrooms are located on the first floor, two with zip-and-link beds that can be set as a super-king or twin beds, and Bedroom 3 has a king-sized zip-and-link bed. The house bathroom has a free-standing bath, and a separate shower. Bedroom 2 has an en-suite shower room. The attic has been converted into a large and light bedroom, dressing area, and en-suite shower room. This room is on the second floor and please note the layout means there’s no door on the staircase to upstairs.


Arrive at Paddock View which is well located close to the heart of the village. There is off-street parking for 2 cars behind the house, and on-street parking for a further 1-2 cars on a first come first serve basis. At the front of the house is an enclosed garden, a small step leads you into the kitchen.

The enclosed garden is to the rear of the house, walk out from the utility room and up steps to the lawn and rattan seating.
