There is a spacious open plan living and dining area is on the first floor, with high vaulted ceilings and traditional brickwork. The well-equipped modern kitchen has everything you need and more on a luxury self-catering break in North Yorkshire. From the dining area, step out to a small balcony with outdoor seating. Enjoy a morning coffee or some al fresco dining, with views across the park towards the river. The comfortable seating area has warm rich colours, and includes a TV and DVD player.
The master bedroom on the top floor has high ceilings and a king-size bed, with luxury en-suite facilities with a bath and overhead shower. There is a patio door from the bedroom leading to a private outdoor balcony. This bedroom is large and is well suited to a couple with a baby in a cot.
Two of the stylish three bedrooms are located on the ground floor, share the attractive house bathroom, which offers a bath and separate walk-in shower. One of the downstairs bedrooms can be set up as a twin room or a double to suit groups or families.

Set underneath the ramparts of an 11th century Norman castle, Darcy Mews is the site of the old gasworks. Now transformed into five stunning apartments, the building still retains many of the characteristics of the original buildings.

Walk along the riverside and take in the falls, which are particularly striking after a rainy day.
