Darcy Mews is perfectly located on Riverside Road in the Georgian market town of Richmond. The views of Richmond Falls and the River Swale as you step out the door also won us over. Darcy Mews was transformed from the old gasworks into five stunning apartments. Architecturally designed, the building still retains the characteristics of the original buildings.
With many walks from your doorstep, Darcy Mews is the ideal family-friendly holiday home for exploring North Yorkshire and is a haven for walkers and cyclists. Walk along the riverside and take in the falls, which are particularly striking after a rainy day. Follow the trail to Richmond Bridge, rewarding yourself with a treat from the award-winning bakery in The Station, a converted Victorian railway building. On Saturdays, make sure you don’t miss the Market in Richmond's marketplace.
While staying at Darcy Mews, we recommend you visit Richmond Castle. It is a short walk to Richmond's marketplace with its historic buildings, museums and the fantastic Georgian Theatre.
