These open onto the private, wraparound terrace accessed from the living room or the bedroom. There's outdoor seating as well as two deckchairs on which to relax and listen to the tranquil sounds of the Richmond Falls opposite.
Head up the staircase to the apartment, where exposed brickwork reflects the site’s former gasworks. The modern kitchen is well equipped for a self-catering stay, with a breakfast bar for relaxed dining (please note there is no freezer or washing machine). Richmond’s restaurants are just a short walk away. The location of this luxury apartment has made it a popular romantic getaway for couples, for anniversaries and even for engagements.
The comfy L-shaped sofa is perfect for an afternoon with a book. There is a large Smart TV for an evening cosied up in front of a film with a glass of wine, kept cold in the wine fridge in the Penthouse.

Set underneath the ramparts of an 11th century Norman castle, Darcy Mews is the site of the old gasworks. It is a short walk up Millgate into the marketplace for anything you need during your stay; it's a bit of a hill but definitely worth the journey. Richmond benefits from plenty of historic buildings, small museums and the fantastic Georgian Theatre. The large cobbled marketplace is a treasure trove of thriving shops, pubs and restaurants.
