Each lodge here at Brompton Lakes has been individually designed by renowned interior designer Rosie Mennam. Louis is a beautiful lakeside lodge with a modern farmhouse feel. We love the contrast of the dark wood of the upcycled furniture and deep greys of the sofa against the fresh greens she has selected for the walls. Each bedroom then has it’s own unique theme with luxurious fabrics and muted tones

Brompton Lakes is close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, which has many walks, cycling routes and stunning attractions. There are plenty of family-friendly activities nearby such as the Forbidden Corner or Lightwater Valley theme park. Aysgarth Falls or Richmond Falls are two of our favourite spots for a stunning walk. While we can recommend the Georgian Theatre for some culture.
The market town of Richmond is just a few miles away in walking distance, and Barnard Castle and Leyburn are a short drive away. Each offers history and culture, restaurants, shopping and the weekly markets filled with local produce. Many of the shops and pubs are also dog friendly and are extremely accommodating for your 4-legged friends.
