Your first trip away as new parents can be one of the most memorable with your new arrival. However, a holiday abroad in the early years can be incredibly daunting. As a new family adapting to such a big change, the thought of navigating a busy airport with your excess baggage allowance at its maximum and wondering if your new arrival will stay quiet on the flight can fill you with dread.
Charlotte is one of our Marketing Managers and is currently on maternity leave. Here she applies her experience from her first weekend away with baby Florence with some handy tips for parents. “After many months of uncomfortable sleep and feeling like you could pop at any moment, as well as missing out on your favourite after-dinner cheese board and a glass of wine, a well-earned luxury break at the award-winning Brompton Lakes is just what you need as a new family!”

“The lodge was beautifully located. The terrace and outdoor furniture were good quality and very useful as we spent quite a lot of time outdoors. It was good that the terrace was completely enclosed, so safe for both the dog and the baby. We were warm and comfortable with a touch of luxury.” Margaret from Cambridge stayed in Louis lodge, 2019
