Brompton Lakes is set across two lakes surrounded by beautiful woodland and the River Swale, with stunning views of the ever-changing nature outdoors. These award-winning Yorkshire luxury lodges naturally offer privacy and peace, a place where you can do as little or as much as you choose.
There is plenty of wildlife to spot to help keep you entertained. Sit back and allow our friendly neighbours to introduce themselves during your stay! Brompton Lakes is truly a photographer’s paradise with plenty going on which can be captured by the lens.
Each luxury lodge has it’s own roaring log fire to snuggle up to with a glass of something special after a day’s adventure. Individually styled with all the luxury touches you’d expect, our lodges are the perfect place to put your feet up while you catch up with family and friends.
Brompton Lakes is the perfect dog-friendly holiday destination with sixteen of our twenty-one lodges welcoming dogs, whilst five lodges are kept pet-free. Grab the lead and walk the dog around the lakes, or venture towards Richmond, where you will find many dog-friendly pubs and cafes.
Three of the twenty-one lodges at Brompton Lakes have jacuzzi-style hot tubs. Relax and soak up the bubbles after a day of activities. Each of our lodges with hot tubs is set back from the lakes to allow for privacy. Sit in your garden, take it easy, grab a drink, and enjoy the peaceful setting of the surrounding woodland.
Twenty One, our 6-bedroom lodge features a hot tub, sauna, and a Scandinavian-style BBQ house – perfect for a group getaway!

Even in the winter, we have plenty of guests eager to visit us at Brompton Lakes. Snowy scenes create a wonderful Winter Wonderland at Brompton Lakes, perfect to celebrate Christmas with family and friends.
Christmas Getaways
Take advantage of the outdoor tennis court on-site at Brompton Lakes, for a change of pace or a bit of friendly competition! There are rackets and balls to borrow, as well as a basketball net on the court. Next to this is a boules pitch, perfect on a summer evening.
Guests can also enjoy bikes, which you can use for a cycle around the Brompton Lakes site or further afield. There are plenty of scenic walking trails and easy access to the Yorkshire Dales nearby. It’s the ideal destination for exploring North Yorkshire’s countryside, historic towns, and award-winning restaurants.
Richmond is down the road from Brompton Lakes, just 2.5 miles away. We recommend a visit to the 11th Century Norman castle ruins and the easy riverside walks. Centred around a large cobbled market place, there is a good choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes in Richmond.
