The town weaves around the banks of the River Swale. Prestigious sites include the 11th century Richmond Castle, the Georgian Theatre, and a large market square with a weekly market. It is a short walk into the city from Unbridled, with its vibrant market place, stunning Ripon Cathedral and an array of independent shops, eateries, and supermarkets. Being close to the Nidderdale AONB, this is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Studley Royal Water Gardens and Fountains Abbey, Lightwater Valley and Ripon Races.
