The Yorkshire Dales
The unspoiled picturesque wilderness of the Dales makes it a paradise for artists, ramblers, and lovers of the outdoors. Move between our holiday cottages in North Yorkshire, many of which are in or within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales. The many walking and cycling paths, pretty market towns, and dining spots to choose from make for an incredible experience.
This enchanting region is home to the most picturesque landscape of heather-clad moorland, ancient abbeys and charming seaside towns and villages. All these dramatic scenes live side by side in perfect harmony. From the gorgeous cottage Paddock View in Osmotherley at the top of the Moors, to the AONB of the Yorkshire Wolds beyond Malton, it’s a wide expanse to discover.
Head to the seaside for a dip in the sea and some fish and chips, or wrap up warm and explore the sprawling beaches in quieter months. We’re exploring some of Yorkshire’s finest coastline, discovering Whitby, Staithes, Saltburn and beyond.
